Dr. Williams-Willingham is a physician and owner of the Decatur Pediatric Group in Clarkston, Georgia. She’s also the Chair person of the AAP Committee on Federal Government Affairs to provide public policy guidance with the White House, Congress, federal agencies and other government bodies.
Melinda was awarded the Pediatric Leadership Alliance Award in 2007, the Young Physician of the Year Award in 2008, the Special Achievement Award in 2010, and the Outstanding Achievement Award in 2016 by her peers.
Guest, Pam Shaw, MD
Dr. Pam Shaw is a Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Dean for Medical Education at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She served as president of the Kansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and currently serves as Chair of the AAP Committee on State Government Affairs.
